For me, the choice to attend Tech came from the heart. I had always recognized Tech’s excellence in academics and know what a Tech degree meant, but it was not until I stepped onto campus that I realized the experience that was waiting for me here. From the warmth of the people I met and the enthusiasm of the students, I knew that it was the place for me.

I cannot even begin to describe what I love about Tech. The list is endless, including the dedication of the faculty, the strong Tech pride, the energy of the fans, the plethora of activities and involvements on campus, Tech’s commitment to its students, and yes, even the coziness of my dorm. There is so much here that will make my experience for the next four years invaluable. Yet, what I love absolutely most about Tech is the group of amazing people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Some of the best times of my life were spent with them, whether going out exploring Atlanta, running around campus cheering after we beat Clemson last fall, or just hanging out in our dorms. It’s the people that make the moments magical, and I’m honored to have them as my Tech family.
