Flow Chart of the Process revised!

October 1
High school seniors may submit their Georgia Tech applications for admission (on-line or postmarked) by this date to be considered for the President's Scholarship. If your application is in by this time, it will result in Georgia Tech's non-binding early notification program.

November 1
High school seniors must have their Georgia Tech applications for admission (on-line or postmarked) by this date to be considered for the President's Scholarship. This is the final deadline in order to be considered for the President's Scholarship.

November
Last SAT I or ACT tests accepted for consideration in the PS competition

By December 15 (approximately)
Notification letters sent to those students chosen as semifinalists. Semifinalists are asked to submit teacher evaluations

December and January
PS semifinalists interviewed by regional committees

By early February
Notification letters sent to all semifinalists to notify them of their status. Those selected as finalists are invited to the annual PS Weekend

March 5-6
President's Scholars Weekend 2010. Final interviews, campus tours, and information sessions for finalists and their parents

May 1
Scholarship acceptance forms due. Deposits due to Housing and Admissions.

July
Signing Day Ceremony. Incoming PS freshmen are invited to Georgia Tech for a reception and ceremony in their honor

August 9-13
Annual PS Fall Retreat. Incoming PS freshmen are invited to travel to Helen, Georgia, and Unicoi State Park. The trip is a great way for new students to get to know many of their classmates as well as some of the older President's Scholars
